Information on the case from local sources, may or may not be correct : Melton was last seen at The Fellowship Home in the 200 block of Woodlawn Avenue in Beckley, West Virginia on September 23, 2000. He may have been headed to a hospital in the West Virginia cities of Charleston or Huntingdon at the time of his disappearance. Melton has never been heard from again.
