Distinguishing characteristics, birthmarks, tattoos : Caucasian male. Brown hair, brown eyes. Sperry has no teeth and he was not wearing dentures at the time of his disappearance. He has a scar on his forehead and a tattoo of a Bacardi bat logo on the inside of his left ankle. He may have a beard. Sperry's nickname is Al and he may go by his middle name, Allen.

Information on the case from local sources, may or may not be correct : Sperry was last seen asleep in an alley under a bridge at Crain Highway and 8th in Glen Burnie, Maryland on May 23, 2005. When his wife went to that location the next morning so she could check him into rehabilitation, he was gone. He has never been heard from again.
Sperry had no permanent address at the time of his disappearance. Few details are available in his case.

The situation, uncertainties, and lack of closure or a funeral resulting when a person goes missing may be extremely painful with long-lasting effects on family and friends.
